Fees
What advice work costs
We quote before starting. Most household consultations are fixed-fee. Larger business-owner or multi-pot retirement cases are scoped after an introductory call so the estimate reflects the number of schemes and the complexity of tax wrappers involved.
| Consultation | Typical fee | What drives the quote |
|---|---|---|
| Retirement income planning | From £1,850 | Number of pension pots, DB transfer analysis, whether both partners are included |
| Investment portfolio review | From £950 | Account count, overseas holdings, need for crystallisation sequencing |
| Business owner wealth consulting | From £1,400 | Company structure, prior contribution history, accountant liaison |
| Protection & estate briefing | From £650 | Policies to review, trust paperwork already in place |
| Introductory call | £0 | Thirty minutes to confirm fit and rough fee range |
Not a subscription. We do not sell monthly software-style packages. Ongoing reviews, if you want them, are agreed as separate annual or ad-hoc engagements with their own fees.
Estimate factors
- How many providers we must write to for valuations
- Whether a defined benefit transfer comparison is required
- Urgency of a statutory or provider deadline
- Whether implementation support (form-filling, chasing) is included
Payment
For fixed-fee work we usually invoice 50% on engagement and 50% when the suitability letter is delivered. Deposits are covered on our refunds page.
Product charges from insurers or platforms are separate and shown before you instruct any arrangement.
