Consultations

From first call to written recommendation

Financial advice here is delivered as a consultation engagement — timed meetings, document collection, analysis, and a letter you can keep. This page explains the rhythm so you know what to prepare and when fees are due.

Introductory call

Thirty minutes, no fee. We confirm the decision you need, whether we can help under UK advice rules, and a fee range.

Engagement letter

You receive a short letter setting scope, fee, deposit, and what happens if you pause mid-way. Work starts when you sign and pay the deposit.

Fact-find meeting

Ninety minutes to two hours. Bring statements, spending notes, and questions. Couples should attend together where assets are joint.

Recommendation

We present the suitability letter, answer challenges, and amend assumptions. Implementation is optional and quoted separately if needed.

Adviser and client reviewing documents in a bright office

Where meetings happen

Our office is at 21352 Isabel Centers, Great Bechtelar, Scotland, United Kingdom. Many clients across Great Britain prefer video for the fact-find and recommendation; we use the same document checklist either way.

What to bring

  • Latest pension and ISA valuations
  • State Pension forecast (or permission for us to help you request one)
  • Mortgage balance and remaining term
  • Existing protection policy schedules
  • Any prior advice letters you still have

After the letter

Retirement income planning includes a follow-up call within six weeks. Other consultations can add an annual review if you want one — always as a fresh, quoted piece of work, not an automatic renewal.
