Cookies
Last updated: 4 August 2026. This page explains how Brightwell Financial Partners uses cookies on reporting-sys.digital.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences and, where you allow it, understand which pages are read most often.
Types we use
Essential cookies remember your cookie choice and keep basic site functions working. These do not require consent beyond what is needed to provide the service you request.
Analytics cookies help us see aggregated page views for advice and journal content. They run only if you Accept on the cookie banner. Rejecting analytics does not block browsing, forms, or enquiries.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| brightwell_fp_cookie_consent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | 1 year (localStorage) | Brightwell Financial Partners |
| _bw_session | Maintains basic session integrity for form submissions where used by the host | Session | Brightwell Financial Partners / hosting |
| _bw_analytics | Counts anonymised page views if you accept analytics | 6 months | Brightwell Financial Partners |
Managing or disabling cookies
Use Accept or Reject on our banner when it appears. You can clear site data in your browser to reset the choice. Browser settings also let you block cookies entirely; essential features such as remembering your preference may then stop working until you revisit and choose again.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP address to Google. We do not load third-party advertising cookies. Image URLs from public image hosts may generate standard server logs at those hosts.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics does not remove access to consultations information, fee guidance, or the enquiry form. Blocking all cookies may require you to set preferences on each visit.
For personal data rights, see our privacy notice.
